For almost 17 years now, Adam has served the city in mainly patrol and patrol support roles. For the past 11 years, Adam was assigned to the East Patrol Division where he has worked as a patrol sergeant, desk sergeant, and division operation’s sergeant.
In 2022, Adam accepted a new challenge in a technology role in the Patrol Bureau Special Projects section. Adam’s small team serves as system administrators for the video surveillance system used by the city and the police department, helping to maintain a network of over 7,000 surveillance and automated license plate recognition cameras throughout the metropolitan area.
Adam is a life-long resident of Kansas City, MO and lives here with his wife of nine years and two daughters ages 8 and 9. Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in geography and returned to school last year to attain an associates degree in cybersecurity, which he will completenext month. In the little free time he has, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and cheering on our local sports teams.
