Bring your family, friends and neighbors for an evening of fun and community building to promote safe neighborhoods.
We’ll have free hot dogs, chips, a bounce house, face painting and more!
With demonstrations by the Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) and the Kansas City Fire Department (KCFD).

Truman CID is proud to announce that we have been awarded funds through the Rebuild KC Grant Program! With these funds, we will be launching our new crime prevention initiatives to help strengthen our community and support our district members.
From these funds property owners can apply to the CID for assistance with cleaning up and maintaining their vacant lots or installing security lighting at their business. The CID is excited to dig in and support property owners as we all work together to improve our community.
